Low Resolution (click) | | It's interesting just to see and to look at a hand-penned letter from before the
age of wide-spread type writers. This letter was written in Missoula and posted
to Norway in January 1921.
It's also interesting to read between the lines and
gleen the punchline point here: Franz Pott was asking
a friend--who was travelling in Norway--to bring back 5000 Mustad hooks.
There was a thriving and profitable fly fishing industry here in Montana,
even as early as 1921 (a hair-hackled wet fly runs through it).
