Hi guys.
Finally almost done with a Freestone Guide.
Lots of blemishes, but it has been a fun year and a half building it on and off.
I hate varnishing - I suck at it badly. So I keep reminding me it is a fishing boat, and that I am learning from my mistakes.I am mostly learning that no matter what you do, gravity will create runs.
The interlux brightside looks ok, but is still not very hard to the touch of a nail. I hope it is just due to the weather being so hot and humid since it has been a solid 10 days now since application.
Working on getting a trailer - tough in SW Virginia.
Notice there are lots of beer holders. ;).
I placed the rod holders on the wrong side for a right handed owner, the reel knobs will hit the sides. oh well. my lefty friends will be happy.
Can't wait to get her on the water - any water.
Cheers
Andreas
